Oh, dear, what have I gotten myself into?

The new tent looked terrific in the box. Directions weren't too hard to follow. But, when we tried to cover it with the fly, we ran into issues. It seemed a little hard to stake it in the living room.

I love the power,the always-changing sameness of the waves, children digging holes on the beach... sailboats and kites, the wind inflating every lobe in my lungs, the many grays boiling ahead of a storm, the Artist's canvas shifting hues and shapes 24/7...

Katie and Natalie's birthday party

What fun! We celebrated Katie's 14th and Natalie's 15th together at The Farm while Wingerts were here in July. We started with a bonfire. I know! It was way too hot, but I wanted one :) Chad built a House of Fire that became a really hot spot for roasting hot dogs.

Water fun played a role in making this event memorable. Go Claire!!!
